Introduction
We take your privacy seriously and want you to feel comfortable using Onevie (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personally identifiable information (“Data”) on our site and Services . This Policy does not apply to entities we do not own or control or to individuals who are own or control or to individuals who are not our employees or agents. Please also review our Terms of Use .
1. Collection of Data
Our registration process requires only a valid email address, phone number, first and last name, and a unique event name.
GDPR context. We are mindful of the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) . Event organizers using Onevie to manage an event (i) while residing in an EU/EEA country, (ii) with a registered office in an EU/EEA country, (iii) with registrants from an EU/EEA country, or (iv) involving EU/EEA citizens, must not collect IP addresses or email addresses for individuals who abandon a purchase or registration form before clicking “Submit” and completing the form.
2. Use of Data
We do not share your Data with third parties except in the cases described below.
- With your consent (e.g., when you opt in to sharing).
- Service delivery where a feature requires interaction with or is provided by a third party (for example, infrastructure or application service providers).
- Legal obligations in response to lawful requests (e.g., subpoenas, court orders) or to comply with applicable law .
- Protection of rights when we believe your use of the Services violates our Terms of Use, other guidelines, or when necessary to protect our legal rights or property.

- Access, correction, deletion. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@onevie.app.

- Portability. You may request a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
- Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link in those emails. To opt out of other forms of marketing, email info@onevie.app.
- Withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal or processing based on lawful grounds other than consent .
- Complain to a supervisory authority. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Your Choices
- Use without registration. Some features can be used without registering, which limits the information we collect.
- Email preferences. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the instructions at the end of those emails. We may still contact you for informational, transactional, or account-related purposes.

7. Editing or Deleting Your Account Information
You may request deletion of your user account by contacting us or by using the Delete Account tool in your dashboard (if available). Content or other data you submitted on event pages that is not stored in your user account will be returned to you upon account deletion and removed from our servers. 8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of substantial changes by posting a prominent notice on our site and/or emailing the address listed in your user settings.
9. Data Retention
Retention periods vary by the type and sensitivity of the information, and the purposes for which we use it. In general, we retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy (including providing products and services to you or our customers), unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. We retain account information for Onevie Services for as long as your event organizer’s account is active and thereafter unless your organizer requests deletion.
